Pet Product Reviews For June 2020
Currently, We own two black labs named Ottis and Cody. Along with two cats. Luna and Jinks. They are no different than children. Ottis is getting old and just can’t handle all the commotion in our home. We search for a product to help calm him. Truly though a hemp product would be the answer it just wasn’t doing it for him. Finally, we found Quiet Moments by NaturVet.
Quiet Moments Soft Chews are a Calming Aid for Dogs. In our home, it is a must-have. In fact, Ottis gets so nervous and restless when the grandkids are around he just paces and is constantly panting. It is also great for dogs who are nervous during events like Thunderstorms and fireworks. I had also suggested it to a friend who takes her dog everywhere with her. As a result, he would shake out of his skin. Quiet Moments are small soft chew tabs. Dogs love to eat without disguise. You can give them 30 minutes prior to an event or we give them twice a day. Always follow instructions for dosage per the size of your pet. Your pet will thank you. Ottis is much calmer and happier now.
Quiet Moments Key Ingredients

- Melatonin to help induce rest and relaxation. Keep your best friend calm.
- Ginger is added to help supports sensitive stomachs. This is important to your four-legged travel partner.

Pet Product Reviews For July 2020
This month we wanted to try a new cat litter. Without a doubt, the cat box can be the worst smelling thing ever. I absolutely hate cat odor. Having two cats makes it 10 times worse. Over the years we have tried many. Some better than others. The biggest problem we found was the litter would be so dusty and the odor seeped out in a day. Usually, we would have to add baking soda after a day or so to help kill the smell. But this past week we found a winner. Literally dust and odor-free.
It should be noted that Fresh Step lives up to its name. Fresh Step! When filling the box I did not start coughing due to all the dust you get with other litters. It is even somewhat lighter than others too. Great for people with bad backs. Let get to our review of Fresh Step.
Just a bit of background…I refer to the lower level of my house as the dungeon were the cave dwellers live. Consist of my 18 teenage-year-old son. My 20-year-old daughter and the 2 cats. Every time I would go downstairs the smell of the cat room just set me off. It has been 12 days since my sample of Fresh Step came and we put it to use. Believe me when I say what a difference. Not once have I smelled the cat’s box upon entry of the lower level in 12 days. My daughter loves it because the cats are her responsibility and she did not get scolded all week. Fresh Step is a Winner for this family. Even those cats are happy.
Key Benefits of Fresh Step
- Absolutely dust-free compared to others.
- Lightweight.
- Contains orders for 10, Gain and Febreze are awesome together.
- Clumps actually stay together.
- Great Price.
- #Best litter ever say, my daughter.
