Tailgating Game Rules, These are basic rules for the best tailgating game out there. Take your next tailgate party to the next level! Let the games begin with QB54, the ultimate tailgating game. Tailgating game Rules
- First, put chairs into game mode. Now you are going to set the chairs about 40 feet apart. ( this is suggested and based on your skills of the game) I had non before I played so we did 30 feet. But for you advid players go 50 if your up to the chalange!
- Second, Pick teams. This is a game for 1 on 1 or up to 4 on 4.
– Example: for 1on 1 you each are on oppisit sides. or for 2 or more teamates take oppisite sides. - Third, Players take turn alternating throws.
Tailgating Game Rules – Scoring Points:
Now to track point. If you hit the chair (any part), get 3 points. Get it in the basket…Touchdown! (6 points).
Upon scoring a touchdown, Kick for the extra point. But you automatically Win the game if your kick goes into the basket. Booyah!
Meanwhile, the offensive team bounces off the ground from a throw and lands in the basket.
On the other hand, the defenders can get 3 points if they catch the ball on a rebound after hitting the chair but before it hits the ground. Make sure it hit the chair first, or it no good.
Remember that teams must switch sides when a leading team hits the following points:12 pts, 24 pts, 36 pts, and 48 pts.
Finally, the first team to get 54 points…Wins!!! (Don’t forget you must win by 2). The losing team gets the last licks, one throw.
The Hail Mary!
Ok, Losers…it’s not over yet! If your the team losing at 54 points or higher, get one chance at redemption. Here is how that works.
Ready? First subtract the winning score from the losing score to determine the number of paces that somebody must take. For example, the score is 54 to 14 would be 54-14=40. So with your back to your goal, take 40 steps. Now turn and face the opponent’s goal. Are you ready? Throw your Hail Mary Pass! If the ball hits any part of the chair or goalpost, You just tied up the game. Make it in the basket for a Touchdown! You Win! Miss it all together; you are still the losers. Better luck next time.
